Violets are Blue

I come out of my Gloom.
Some are Big
Some are Small
But I can see them all
because you are here.

My grandma is a fantastic person. I Love you grandma.

Toxic Waste

Toxic waste is what we throw causes danger to others life. Toxic waste can affect humans, animals and also plant life. Toxic waste is polluting the air, land and water. By breathing toxic air we can get cancer and other illnesses. Defect in birth. Tons and tons of dangerous waste is released to the environment, both by knowingly and not knowingly.

Please think before you throw anything.

Recycle

Recycle is
• Processing waste into new products.
• Preventing waste by using the materials again.
• Not using the fresh raw materials always.

We need to do all these to save the world.
• Reduce energy usage.
• Reduce air pollution.
• Reduce water pollution.

• Lower green house gas.

My Grandma

My grandma deserves the best in life because she makes me happy when I am down. She has always turned my frown upside down. She is always on my side. She believes in what I do, cares for me and always love me as no body could ever do. Nobody can replace my wonderful nana, she makes my heart beat fast, cheers me up with all her love. My nana loves me so much that I forget myself and my worries.

Caught Being Good Grand Parent

Dear Mrs Baker,

My grandma Riana has done a lot of things for my brother and me. When I was little she would take me to lots of places. She would take me to the pool, the park, and she would even take me up north to meet my cousins whom I had never met before. Sometimes when we’re at the shops she would buy me a lolly.

On Saturdays we would go to the White horse or we will go to the Pakuranga league club. She would take a cold drink for her as well as to me. She is a very affectionate person. When my dad fell from the tree and was injured his head, she was there to give him comfort and took him to the hospital. I love my nana and would be happy to give her anything.

Learning Intention: I am learning to write an explanation.

The All blacks were playing France in the finals for the world cup 2011. All blacks didn’t play very well because they only got one try. Because of Piri Weepu they could not get more points otherwise they would have thrashed France.
France played well because they had good defence and they got a try and a goal kick. The captain got the try for France and they would have won by the penalty kick but they didn’t because the kick didn’t go through. The final score was 7 to France and 8 to All Blacks.
France was shocked because they lost and they were bursting out tears but the captain was strong. The All Blacks were bursting out with happiness because they won the Rugby World Cup for 2011.
France got the silver medals and the All Blacks got the gold medals and the Webb Ellis Trophy. The All Blacks won the RWC twice now for our country.
They were singing the national anthem and went around the field waving at the supporters. It was an excellent opportunity for us to watch this game.

LI: I am learning to write an explanation.

The New Zealand All Blacks, the hot favourites of the people of New Zealand have proved that they are the best in the world in Rugby Union.
They have won five games in a row including a pool match victory over France earlier in the tournament.

On the Sunday’s finals they beat France by one point.
Thanks The All Blacks for making New Zealand proud.
